  Flights
Your flights are with British Airways from Heathrow Airport direct into Beijing, and returning direct from Shanghai. If you are travelling from other parts of the UK, then you can alternatively fly with Emirates via Dubai which has excellent regional connections.
  Beijing (days 1-6)
- Walk on the Great Wall of China - this will be one of your highlights of China with many fantastic photographic opportunities of the wall and the surrounding scenery
- Summer Palace - this is a calm and peaceful place with beautiful bridges, walks and waterfalls
- Forbidden City - a deserted city within a city with has the largest and best preserved collection of ancient buildings in China
- Stroll through Tiananmen Square - a vast public space which is the world's largest public square
- The Temple of Heaven - a UNESCO world heritage site

Itinerary Day 8 - Fly to Wuhan, board the Yangyze River Cruise Days 9 to 11 - Three Gorges Dam, beautiful scenery, various shore excursions, temples and statues of the Ghost City of Fengdu, travel up the Shennong Stream in a pea-pod boat, Lesser Three Gorges Day 12 - Disembark and transfer to Chengdu

  Chengdu (days 12-14)
- Giant Pandas - see these adorable animals being reared in wooded surroundings. You will be able to get within a few feet of them, and watch them eat and play. - Leshan - this is the world's largest carved stone Buddha which took 90 years to complete!

- Yu Gardens - an calm oasis away from the hectic city with typical Chinese pagodas
- The Bund - this is Shanghai's historic waterfront promenade, and is great for people watching
- Pudong - explore the unique 1920's style Xintiandi area
- Shanghai Museum - view the superb antiquities and fine arts and wander round People's Square before a traditional Shanghai meal
- River Cruise - end your stay in Shanghai with a stunning river cruise celebration
Itinerary Day 17 - Fly to Shanghai, visit the garden city of Suzhou, Day 18 - Silk Mill, enjoy a cruise on the Grand Canal, Oriental Gardens, then go back to Shanghai Day 19 - Shanghai Museum, wander around Peopl'e Square, Yu Gardens, Old Town Shanghai, The Bund, traditional Shanghai cruisine in the evening Day 20 - Pudong, 1920's style buildings, end your stay with a stunning Huangpu River cruise Day 21 - Sadly fly back to the UK, returning the same day

Notes
The prices are based on escorted group tours, however if you would like to travel on any date throughout the year (not just those listed below) using private transport, then the supplement will be up to £500, but please call for a quotation. The single person supplement is approximately £500, but again please call us for an exact quotation. Group sizes are between 8 and 30 people. You will have a tour leader and local guides. All transfers are taken care of. Visas are organised for you and are included in the cost of your holiday. You will need a small amount of money for tipping and drinks, plus any souvenirs that you buy.

A 2% surcharge is made for Credit Cards, but there is no surcharge for Debit Cards or Switch.
